Blizzard '07

It started out like any other winter storm in the Mid-west Feburary 1, 2007. We had been lucky and we knew it, Colorado et all had been hammered several times already this season.

There was snow, we knew it was coming, there would be wind-chill, we had plenty of warning. But we had snacks, we had football and we were prepared.

The photo on the right above is day one.
The photo on the left is day three, Feb 3, 2007.

Well, a little break in the clouds, a little sunshine a brisk wind, what's the prob you ask? Check out the National Weather service stats for the first four days of this storm, below:

So today, day four we get a little break, still frosty as heck but less snow so far. We were even treated this morning to a spectacular Rainbow. Yep, your ears did not wobble, a rainbow in the winter at just about sunrise.

And here is another beautiful shot....

One more shot to amuse you as it did us before we head into round two. Yes there is more coming this week.....

Where's my barn? Is my stall heated, where is my food, my blankie!
